I don't know if anyone is interested, but everyone here is always so supportive, and I could use that right now. Anyway, my story is that I'm currently "Boxerless", and I'm in the process of adopting a boxer in New Jersey. She is 1 1/2 yrs old, brindle female with natural ears. The family can't keep her. She has medical problems with her skin. She gets allergies really bad and is always on prednisone and antibiotics, but I don't care. I love it, I'm getting a Boxer!!!!! YIPPEEE!!!! I can't wait!!
Just another thing, at the vet clinic I work at here, I saw a boxer for the first time the other day. When he came in, I just wrapped my arms around him and layed my head on top of his and, not noticeable, started to cry...I still miss my old babies.
Anyway, enough of my sob story. Just wish me luck in hopes that the new baby girl gets here to me soon. Thanks everyone!!!

Your story is so sweet. I am glad you are not going to be Boxerless for much longer. How in the world are you getting the new baby to AK from NJ? What a road trip?? or is she flying?

Since you work for a vet, he can be helpful in treating her skin ailments. It could be food or like in my Indy's case, environmental - pollen, grass, etc. Anyway congratulations and let us know when your baby is safely home!

Good for you taking a baby who needs a home! And even better for you that you are willing to take one who needs extra special care and attention! Before you know it, you'll have lots of boxer slobers keeping you company!!! Hope the time until then flies for you!

Congratulations!!! I know how exciting that is. I rescued both of my dogs. I could not wait for Bama to get to me. He flew from GA to WA. Their is a website that you can track flights. I do not remember what it is, maybe someone else does. I tracked Bama's flight all day. I was so excited all day that when I got to the airport the guys went and got him right away for me. Please keep us posted.
