Mugy had his first Thanksgiving dinner yesterday! He loved the bits of turkey we gave him mixed with his food - he especially loved the giblets.
I was so proud at how good he was while we prepared and then ate dinner. (I didn't feed him until after.) He didn't beg once and "settled" on his blanket and slept all during dinner. My whole famly was so impressed since the other dogs were pacing under the table and crying for food. Once we were done, we started cleaning up. We all left the room for a minute, and didn't realize that he had stayed in the kitchen with the turkey still out on the table. When we came in, he was beside the table right in front of the turkey. He didn't lift his nose once, but he was drooling and blowing bubbles like crazy. My mom was so impressed - his training classes have really paid off!
