Billysmum
Boxer Insane
Oh help! We're moving house in 6 days time!
It's a new house we're going to and we are hoping the carpets and wood flooring will be laid by the time we get there with our furniture on Friday.
The fireplace will not be fitted until early December.
The kitchen will not be in until about a week before Xmas!
The house is in a tiny hamlet of about 9 houses. 1 mile to the village and 2.5 miles to the school.
We will have a large garden - about 120ft long and about 60ft wide. Ok so no room for the horse I want, but bigger than the 30ft square we have now!
Billy and Tommy are going to LOVE it.
The removal men are coming to start packing on Wed and Thur so thankfully I won't have to do too much. My mum is coming over to help me clean the house before we leave it.
The new house is about 85 miles away from where I live now - it's in Lincolnshire. So I'm leaving my mum and dad and my sister and 2 nieces behind - but at the end of the day it only takes just under 2 hrs to drive to/from the new house.
I'm quite excited but a bit nervous too. The girls don't seem too nervous about starting a new school - perhaps it will hit them when we get there.

you must be so happy and excited. I lived without a kitchen for a couple of months too, it was difficult but well worth it in the end because you get to pick what you want!! A fireplace ready for Christmas how heavenly. Sounds like a wonderful place, I'm sure the kids, Billy and Tommy too will adjust fine and love it.
