Mixed with what?

We got our girl Greta from a shelter and they told us she was probably a boxer mix. I was just wondering if anyone has any opinions on what she may be mixed with. Only thing that isn't totally boxer on her that I can see are her eyes. They are a amber color rather than a dark brown. She acts 100% boxer...such a goof! And we love her too death. Just curious as to what others think.

She looks 100% boxer to me. Some boxers do have the lighter colored eyes, although I think they are less desireable for the show ring, not exactly sure on that though. She was proably just a back yard bred girl so she doesn't have the same qualities of a well bred dog from a different source but the love it what counts. Thank and you rescued her from a terrible place! I don't think she's a mix and I LOVE that picture of her sliding down the hall, what a cutie!

She looks all boxer to me too. I can just see her sweet personality from the pics! Thanks for rescueing that darling angel. She's a real cutie!

I forgot to add that I've seen another boxer with amber eyes. She was a brindle.

I would certainly think she's a mix. She has a 'triangular' rather than square head shape, plus there's the eyes, the muzzle shape, light flews and very weak mask that aren't typical of a boxer. She reminds me somewhat of a Rhodesian Ridgeback for expression LOVE the photo of her sliding down the hallway btw

She looks all boxer to me too...or at least 99% It doesn't matter anyway, as long as you love her who cares! My boxer baby has a tail (it wasn't docked) and no one recognizes her as a boxer. But, ya know what everyone we meet says that they LOVE her tail!!

Thanks everyone! We think she is pretty special too no matter what she is! And I don't know if you can notice in the pictures...but her tail was never docked either =) just adds to her character I think.
