Marmite anyone?

Hello. I was wondering if Marmite was alright for a Boxer to eat. Instead of putting a bit of peanut butter around opening of kong, maybe a bit of Marmite? I love Marmite so I thought maybe she might! Please let me know, if anyone knows, if this is alright for them!

OH my gosh! did you read the part where its addictive...LOL...youre going to have a dog that freaks about that if you give it.

Tastes like hell, but Marmite is actually very healthy. Yes, you can give it to dogs (and cats), it is waaay better for them than peanut butter, and generally they love it. I still think it tastes awful though.

Thank you for the help. I probably should have explained what it was for those of you in the states. Although I have seen it at Publix. I am from England and reckon I was on it since being weaned like the FAQ said!

That's actually a good point about an alternative to PB! We have been thinking of alternatives as there is too much sugar in peanut butter... don't want to rot Willis's teeth
