I have been anxiously awaiting the first snow so Lucy could play in it for the first time. Big brother, Rocky loves to romp in the snow and chase snowballs. Yesterday morning we woke to several inches o (on the grassy areas). I opened the back door to let Lucy out and she ran out with the usual level of excitement. Unfortunately the porch was icy and her hind legs slid out from under her and she slip on her butt right of the edge of the porch (only one step down). She turned and gave me a look that clearly said "What the hell is this" I had to laugh and then explained to her the dangers of running on the ice. (Yes I talk to my dogs!!) Once she got to the snow she put her nose down and started "tunnelling" and would snort like a pig. Best part is when we go back in she must be cold and wants to snuggle, snuggle, snuggle. Should be a fun winter.
