Little Black hairs on fawn

So Clover is a fawn, or at least I thought, she probably is...but here is the deal. I just noticed that on her sides/back more towards her front legs there are longer single black hairs, they are not bunched together, but spread here and there...it's very strange. Any idea??

my Evie has those too, you can only see them when you are REALLY close tho! I think its just a natural thing

Same, my Hendrix also has those hairs along his back, but you can olny see them if you look close. I'm not sure, I was thinking they were a natural thing too. I think they give him character!

The fawn female I used to have had little black hairs along her back too. We used to joke that she was a Rhodesian Ridgeback Boxer. I always thought that maybe she had a brindle boxer somewhere in her lineage. Granted, that long ago (when I didn't know any better) I had gotten her from a BYB - so who knows

Jesse has them also. They are on her ribcage and kind of look like little black wiskers.

I thought it was normal - just don't ever recall having seen them on any of my other dogs..could be because Clover is going through her "snuggle bug" stage and is always sitting on my lap or lying on me. They do look like little whiskers...they are cute -

What just curious if anyone else's baby has them.

Darien is a fawn and I noticed from about 6 months on that he was starting to get little black "whisker" type hairs along his ribcage. I never really paid much attention to them since you have to look close to see them. He also, upon close inspection, has a slightly heavier coat than the breed standard, which doesn't bother me since we have really nasty weather here and he insists on going outside at least every 10 minutes. Maybe the slightly thicker coat has something to do with it.

Cin has those... she also has developed black outline around the white on her chest....i just attribute that to her dad being brindle...who knows
