lame fingers= lost time

A week ago i sliced up my middle finger from the first knuckle to the finger tip, including the nail and nailbed. The opposite hand suffered a thumb injury. Now I type funky, can't knit or crochet. The sup side.....upside i mean
is I can't get either hand wet. No dishes or any dut y that could cause infection

OUCH!!!!!.....That sounds so painful!...How did you do that??.....Good side, as you said, is you won't be able to do ANYTHING...hopefully you have someone to tend your every need, so no cooking (far too dangerous ) No housework, and as you said definitely no washing up for at least a month I'd say ...So put your feet up, nurse your wounds, and enjoy being pampered!....Hopefully you'll still be able to lift a wine glass up to your mouth unaided...Hmm...If not you can always put the wine glass on a table, and join three of four straws together so you can reach it ....Seriously, I hope it's not too painful, and sending you lots of love and get well wishes!

Oh, I do love your thinking!!! I was chopping very fine vegies for stir fry.........turned to look at my daughter ........OFF went the top layer of skin and nail.

At least it was a sharp knife. It was funny (maybe not) right after I got off the computer I was working with some metal and sliced my finger open.

I am hoping your hand heals quickly.

TY. DH thought it was funny that my biggest concern was "will the nail grow back normally?'
