We have had Kira for 4 months now. Rocko and her get along great. Yesterday I bought a Wiggley Giggley ball. I figured they would both play with it. Well, Rocko chewed a hole in it within 5 minutes. Needles to say I was not very happy. Rocko never use to chew up things. I got to thinking about it, any of the toys he had or any of the ones I bought for Kira before we brought her home he has not chewed. Since we have had her he will chew up anything I bring home for them. He has even chewed up a couple of my granddaughter toys. I'm thinking he must be a little jealous. Other than the chewing everything has been fine. What can I do about this? Any ideas out there?

We have the same problem with our cocker spaniel, Sammi Jo. She is 11 yrs old and gets jealous of our boxer baby (4.5 mos). I bought those litte squeeky toys that they use in the show ring ($2 ea.). I even got two of them to make sure they both had one. But within half an hour Sammi Jo, the cocker had chewed the squeeker out of them. She chews any toys that I got for Emma. Sammi has NEVER been interested in toys at all. Now suddenly she has to try to destroy all of the boxer's toys. She sits and tears at them with her teeth until they are torn apart. Emma plays real nice with her toys and doesn't tear them up at all (at this point). Obviously the cocker is jealous of the new boxer baby. The funny thing is that neither of them show ANY interest in the wiggly giggly ball!!! How funny is that?
