Koolba has outsmarted her prong collar

Koolba did the funniest thing towards the end of our walk the other day! I've only been using a prong collar for a week or so, and it's working really well. Well, as we approached our street, this little pup figured out that if she carried the leash in her mouth, I couldn't pinch her!! She trotted happily to our driveway, "walking" herself!!

We just have a regular collar on our dog and he has already learned that trick. Here is a little tip, we sprayed the anti-chew stuff on the bottom of the leash and it works. But you will probably have to spray it everytime you go for a walk.

Diesel figured that trick out quickly as well. I think it's probably because boxers are so darn smart. I can't use the puppy repelent b\c he likes the taste of it, and will lick it till he throws up. I tried it on the fake plants around the house. I found that if I stop the walk until he lets go he will finally get the message that we wont go any further until it's out of his mouth.

It is kinda funny though how they problem solve, but Diesel ended up losing a tooth when held the choke chain in his mouth and started to pull. Thank goodness it was only a baby tooth.

That's funny....I thought Bailey was the only one who did that. At the end of our walks he loves to take the leash, throw it up in the air, chase after it, and of course play tug-a-war. He especially does this when I am talking to a neighbor....as if to say..."mom, I'm still here, look at me.....look what I can do." He loves it....whatever makes him happy.
