Happy New year to all!
I am the proud Mom of my 3 yr old girl, Miss kissy Shebang. She was a baby doll I acquired from a rescue 2 years ago after my beloved big boy, Crunch Shebang (a fawn Boxer0 died unexpectedly) I had had him since 6 weeks and he was only 10. Kissy had been in 2 rescues and the 1st, found her on the street. She was very timid and nervous when I brought her home. I put her into obedience training and let her sleep on Mommie's bed altho the pro's say not to do this....humph! Now, my girl is happy, well balanced & very, very loved. She does not care for other dogs..but so what? I control her with no problem when we walk....But I sure would like to encourage others to try a rescue when contemplating your next 'child' and just remember to allow them time to 'adjust'. Make sure you visit several times to check out their tempermant before you make your final decision. I amde the perfect choice for me..and now I'm back in Boxer Heaven loaded with slobber and kidney bean dances and loving the woo-woo song again! Jann in CA
