Kennel cough

Rainy recently contracted kennel cough (I think she caught it at obedience school) and Romeo came down with it shortly thereafter. Has anyone else had any experiences with kennel cough? How long did it take for your furkids to recover? They've been on antibiotics for a week now, and are getting better. Our vet says is can sometimes be tough to get rid of..... :(

I recently posted a thread entitled "How long for kennel cough", dated 17 Jan 01. Several good replies may contain something you might wish to consider. There have been other KC threads too of course, but like your vet said, it can take time to recover. Hope Rainy & Romeo are soon on the mend.

Thanks for directing me to your thread, Eric. It was very helpful. Romeo's doing great and Rainy's still a little snotty, but no sign of the horrible cough. I hope that your girl Ana is doing better.
