Indestructable balls

I'd like to ask everybody to contribute their experience. My female, Shae, has always LOVED toys, among them balls. One of her favorites in the past was the large balls from Walmart around $2.50 or $3. She had her first one for months and absolutely loved it! She looked like a soccer player running it across the yard, popping it up with her head or nose.....so cute! Well finally, she burst it. Since then, I've bought one million, five hundred of the large balls and it's the same story. Within 2 mins. ......it's gone. Does anybody know of any balls that would stand up to biting better? I've seen the ones at Petsmart that SAY they're indestructable but...........lolol. They have the 'handle' made on them and seem pretty heavy. But who wants to pay that much for something that I'm not sure of. What's the experience with those kind? I'd love to find a large ball again that she could use for a while before breaking it. Thanks for any help or advice.

I have a dog who also loves balls. We have tried all kinds, and the regular soccer ball seems to be her favorite. I have one of those Jolly balls with the handle on top, and she absolutely loves to drag it around the yard. She is not a big chewer, but we have gone through lots of soccer balls because she carries them in her mouth and, well you know... She really seems sad when the darn thing loses it's air... Anyway, our Jolly ball has stood up to her carrying it around in her mouth, but the sun/heat has caused it to cave in on one side, so it doesn't roll or bounce very good anymore.

I agree with BetsyB. The Jolly ball, which comes in many sizes, has been the ONLY ball Molly has not distroyed. I bought her a smaller one for in the house and she has a bigger one for outside. Molly drags that ball everywhere. In my opionion the jolly ball is the best.

Thanks Amy and Betsy! That helps a little to hear from people who have purchased that ball. I don't know that Shae means to actually CHEW the balls, but in playing with them, she does put her mouth into a ball and hang on by her teeth, to carry it, so inevitably, the other balls pop immediately! She used to have so much fun with those huge balls but I just can't buy them over and over for 2 minutes of play! lol Maybe as she gets a little more mature, she might put her teeth into it less! I can hope! She never learned bite inhibition either so maybe that's part of it. Again, THANK YOU for your time!

It sounds as though the ball you are describing is a jolly ball. It is a ball that can't be popped, she could bite it but when she lets it go, it would just pop back to normal shape. It has a hole on one said which air just goes in and out of. If she would chew the handle off, the ball would still be good. They use Jolly balls for horses, you know they have to be pretty sturdy.

the jolly ball is a huge hit at our house. We have them everywhere and even the dogs that do not like balls have fun with the jolly ball. They might be more expensive but the cheapies eventually add up.

I have to chime in and agree with everyone else. We have the big Jolly ball that has the rope through it and Roscoe LOVES it (I posted a video of it last week.."Silly dogs"). He pushes it around the yard, picks it up by the rope and by the ball part and carries it around, but has yet to destroy it. The good thing is that it cant be "popped."

What about one of the oversized tennis balls. They seem pretty tough.
Lisa loves her tennis balls (original size) and she doesn´t seems to burst them like normal balls.

Punchie found a football somebody left behind at the dog park. She's had it for over a year now, and it's still in pretty decent condition. She LOVES it.
