Hi my name is karen and I thought it would be fun to be apart of the german bloodlines in the boxers, I first fell in love with the boxers when we were given a female boxer by my cousin. I had no idea what I was in for, as you see I dont like dogs, I am a cat person, until this beautiful little mind came into my life, I had just gotten out of the hospital , I had a knee replacement, and was stuck in bed for awhile and only small movements until healing, my husband took some time off the first week to help me move around the house, and then it happened , he went bact to work , I was so lonely , and then my new girl cassie new I was lonely and sad, cause this was not what I wanted to do , I was always active, so anyway, cassie made life at home so much fun, she would sleep when I slep, and bring her toys to the bedroom and I would throw them and she would make a game of teasing me with her toys, tough awar was a lot of fun and just being there when I was hurting and know how much it meant for me to have her there , I dont believe I could have gotten threw my healing time as well, if she hadnt been there to cheer me up, since then, I have fallen in love with the boxers, everone that has had one tells me the same story about their dog so it must me the great personality of the boxers , they are great with kids elderly and most of all the sick trying to get well, I will always love them and thank God for my first boxer. Since then I have added a beautiful german male and they are my best friends . I no longer look at dogs the way I used to . The boxer is the most perfect dog in the world for me. I am looking forward to meeting some or all of you I would love to hear more stories as I share them with everyone I know. Karen
