I may get a foster

I know I said I wouldn't foster again because its so hard to let them go. I kept my last foster, Sammie. There is a gorgeous girl in a shelter a couple hours away. She's considered a senior and I can't bear to see her euthanized so I emailed about her and offered to foster if no one adopted her before her time was up. They had someone interested but it looks like it fell through. I'm a couple hours away so I don't know if the rescue will let me foster her but I'm going to try. My DH is less than thrilled.

What a sweetie! Hopefully they will let you foster so she can be in a warm home while she's waiting to be adopted.

The rescue is starting the process to get her out of the shelter. Yeah!

Oh, bless your heart for helping her! I wish my DH would let me foster, I would in a heartbeat.

We didn't get her after all. My contact at the rescue says they've found her a home. Still a good ending for her.

I am glad she found a home I adopted my last foster and was going to take an 11 1/2 year old that was left at boarding kennel and never claimed and ended up in the shelter at that age who would adopt but luckily another family ended up taking him from our rescue or I would have taken him he looked so much like my Harley!!
