Glad to here that you are doing okay. I am glad that I live in the country and not in the city. I still have to go to work and it is very stressful. At least I can come home and pat Allie. She is always so happy to see us, when we come home.
Keep safe everyone. !!!

Hello all! We are doing okay.Trying to stay healthy. I find the hardest thing is wearing a mask out to shop. I just can't get used to it, so I limit how many times I go out a month. Its bad here in New Jersey. Up to 70,000 cases. I love closer to Philly not in the hot spot near New York. My hubby is essential worker so he is busy, thankfully but I worry still. I am retired, I am a crafter but no events to sell at. I do sell online, but that is slow. I am very sad and depressed. I miss having a dog. Lily is gone 6 months now. I don't feel it is a good time to rescue or adopt at this time due to the circumstances of the virus. I would like to once it is safe to do so. Things are different, you can't even to the vet office like we did before. I wish she was here because she was so comforting to me. I know we can foster, but I just don't want to do that. Not sure hubby is ready yet as well. I was doing better mentally then a close Aunt passed in January, she lived a long life at 90. Then this virus hit and I feel so down in the dumps. Ugghh. ... I think the only thing that will get me out of this is getting a dog. I sure hope it is some time this year. One good thing, we managed to squeeze in a vacation early March before all hell broke loose. We visited Clearwater Florida for spring training, took in the games and did some sightseeing. We had a fabulous time! Glad we did because who knows when we can do that again.
Take care, stay safe and well!
Hi Linda/NJ,
We lost two of our gang last year. Lily in April and then Diezel in September. We Miss them both terribly!
Ginger is now 11 years and seems to have come to terms with being the only dog. She expects to go to work with me every day, thinks that's her job. We don't like leaving her home alone so she goes when we go. She goes on 1 - 2 mile walks every day and can still jump up 3 1/2ft into my truck. I don't let her jump out as I don't want her to get hurt. We're managing a MCT on her front ankle with a small dose of Prednisone every other day. She surprises me every day she still has spunk. Her world is about to be shaken a bit. But she will always be treated like the Princess she is.
We bit the bullet and found two pups from health tested parents.(two different litters) Both litters were born on 12-16-20. They will be here on 2-14-21. We are looking forward to puppy pandemonium, as Jan calls it. :) I think puppies are the answer to a hole in the heart. Its a way to honor the Boxers before...

Hello, sorry for your losses but exciting to hear about your new puppies!

We just brought new female boxer home yesterday she’s 8 weeks old. I forgot how much hard work it is. Lol.

Will post photos on other thread.

Congrats on your beautiful puppy.
We’re two weeks in. They’re starting to go to the door when the need to go. Sometimes they use puppy pads. The trick is to catch them when they’re going and correct them. Take them outside immediately. 🙂
