I FOUND MAGIC!!!(long)

Finally I have found something to keep our rombanxious little Nina occupied for more than 5 min....other than the kidsLOL
Last night a I made a kong stuffed with treats...peanut butter...mashed banana...more treats and more peanut butter...and froze it over night
She is in heaven!!!hehe.its been 45 min...she is still at it
We have been trying to discourage her boxer runs as her incision from the spay was still healing....It is finally looking good....GEEZ its so hard to keep her calm...but it was for her own good
Nina is very good when it come to potty. The trainer crate trained her for me...which has made everything so simple....it took me a while to figure things out ...as this is my 1st furry baby.
In 6 days she has only had 3 accidents...and that is our fault as she is not ready to be free in the entire house( she is only 13 weeks)
So our kitchen is gated and we have a cow bell that i ring everytime she goes out and say GO PEE
She has nudged the bell 4 times now...she is so smart!!!
It is pretty muddy in the back...so everytime she comes in her paws are filthy
I have been dipping them in warm water and drying them off....what do the rest of you do when you let your dog out and they get filthy each time?
Is Nina too young for the bad cuz...as i have read here that she might just enjoy it.
My hubbie has already starting trainning her...and she has sit down packed as well as he has tought her that when we go for a walk...if we stop walking she must stop, sit and wait till we move 1st
Since she was tha only pup in the litter...there are times that she thinks she is the queenLOLwe are nipping it in the butt...and the breeder had a pup with her so she had a litter mate to learn from
I also make a point to...everytime i feed her ......do a commad and i show her that i eat first...then she does.As well as when we go out anywhere...we enter 1st...the kids....and Nina is last
I have seen 1st hand...with my parents dog ...how bad it is to have an adult gigantic dog that thinks he is the master of US.
We do this will love and praise as well as many healthy treats....
How true it is ....when people say...BOXERS are ONE of a kind!!!

I do the same thing with cleaning the feet of mine, I love it when the ground is dry and not muddy!
Nina seems to be fitting in very well with your family. I am so glad! I was keeping up with your posts and loved how excited your family was that she was on her way! She is doing great with the pottying! Keep up the good work! Oh,why was she the only one in her litter?

Sometimes I feel I'm constantly washing four paws! But so often after a run it has to be a complete stand up washdown and a good towelling as Cini gets splashed or rained on. We have foul smelling mud puddles in the field behind us and so it's the #1 stop during our runs. I have a huge heap of doggy towels and have resorted to hosing her down on good days. That part she hates. Loves getting a washdown though, must be all the attention!
