I am looking to get a family pet. I am drwn to a boxer. I am doing a lot of investigation. My first question is that my wife and I are runners. We typically run 4-5 times a week for a least an hour adn sometimes as much as 90 minutes. Can a full grown Boxer be a match for us? If so how old is that for the dog?

Boxes make great family pets and are great with kids, but they are not what I would choose for a jogging companion. With their pushed in noses, they don't have a great cooling system and easily get too hot, especially in the summer.
