Zeus has developed real bad hives over the weekend. Of course these things always happen over the weekend/holiday. We came home Sat. night and his right eye was swollen and he had raised areas down both sides of his torso. I immediately gave him some Benadryl, but that hasn't seemed to do the trick. he does not appear to be having any difficulty breathing, and he is in great spirits. We had done a major house cleaning Friday night and used a lot of bleach to clean with. Could the residual fumes be giving him his hives???? I am taking him to the Vet this p.m., but I was curious if anyone else has had this type of problem. I feed him Nutro for large breed puppies with yogurt on it. He gets nothing else to eat, no table scraps at all. We also used one of those carpet deodorizer powders that you vacumn up when we were cleaning. Any help "y'all" can give would be appreciated. Thanks.
