help!!! moby ate an entire banana peel

are banana peels toxic???? i was making a bowl of cereal tonight and left my banana peel on the counter after cutting up the banana over my cereal.
i left the kitchen for a few seconds and by the time i returned.........moby had eaten the entire banana peel.
i'm concerned about him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can anyone help??????????????

I've never seen anything on any sites I've been too about banana peels being toxic to dogs, but I'm no expert. I truely doubt it will cause harm except an upset tummy at most.

i so hope that they aren't toxic. i'm so worried. we called the Emergency Vet but they said he should pass it...........but he ate it whole..........I'm still concerned even though the vet said he would pass it.
i just hope hat they aren't toxic. i'm sick to my stomach over it.

I truely wouldn't worry. He should pass it. You'd be amazed at the stuff they eat. My pup at a pencil the other day and I just about came unglued. He was fine, but I was still worried. Just watch him and make sure he goes poop and doesn't get blocked.

Luca eats banana skins if he can get hold of one, don't think he's eaten a whole one, but try not to worry too much.

Mine have eaten banana peels and actual bananas are one of their favorites! He should be fine. Don't worry.

I would think it would pass also, my Bosco tried to eat my ipod once, a day after christmas, a gift from my wife, we both just about went berzerk! But now it just has some love bite marks on it!
