Boxer Pal
Hello my name is Shannon. I am the proud mother of two Boxers Karma and Keesa. I cannot begin to describe what an impact and how much joy they bring to our life. They truly are a blessing!
Karma is three and a half and she is reverse brindle that is about 70 lbs. She is very loving and yet lets us know when she needs her space. She is attached at my hip. so much so that I think she has a little seperation anxiety!! She likes it outside as long as we are with her. Karma is the dominate one in the family and loves to try to prove that on a continuous basis and she also likes to talk to us in the morning while she stretches.
Keesa is two and a half and is fawn that is about 48 lbs. Though she is two and a half her face still looks like a puppy! She is definitely the lover in the family!! I am pretty sure that she would be content if the rest of her life consisted of sitting on our lap and licking our faces! She is connected at our hips as well but the difference with her is that she loves the outdoors. Her favorite thing to do is sit out on our porch and bake in the sun. When she is doing this it is nearly impossible to get her inside even when she is noticeably overheating!! We have recently discovered that she has severe hip dysplasia which was definitely disappointing news to hear. Karma limps sometimes as well It is hard to watch my babies limp around because I want them to be healthy. Most of the time they appear to be fine though.
I am excited to be a member with others who care so much about their boxers as I do.. I look forward to getting advice and possibly giving it!
