Hello, everyone! I just thought I would send a quick "hello" from Columbus, Ohio to all of you. My fiancee and I are hoping to find a pet boxer puppy in early July (when we return from our honeymoon!), so I thought it was a good time to become a Boxerworld member. That way, I will have lots of other "parents" who can give me a little guidance on the best way to care for, love and raise one of the sweetest treasures on Earth! Hello, again! =)

Why I chose a boxer . . .
Actually, Olly, my fiancee and I were planning on a Doberman - he has wanted one for years - but when we were looking for apartments, we quickly realized that Dobes were considered a "restricted breed". So, he asked how I felt about Boxers. I had never really heard much about Boxers and wasn't sure what they even looked like. The more I have seen and researched them, the more sure I am that this is a phenomenal breed. I want a dog that is cuddly, loyal, and great with kids, but also one that can be a great guard dog, if needed. They are such clowns and so expressive - how could anyone *not* fall in love with them?
