I have a quick question, do boxers heads get bigger as they continue to fill out past their 1st year?

    thanks

Yes, the first year the head shape will change but the second and third year you will see much more dramatic changes from the egg head to a flatter shape. It will widen a bit as well, at the jaw line. Some keep that puppy shape all their lives too, like my girl. She never developed that boxy, wide head. But she is not a well bred girl.

I love the boxy, squared smooshy faces, maybe my next boxer sigh.

I believe that males, especially will develop a wider, boxier head in their 2nd year. It will be more pronounced if you delay their neutering until at least a year of age.
