Okay I have a question for you guys?! Me and my sister were at the mall the other day when we ran upon a bakery for dogs?? What a great idea!!! Well we got some mix for some "cookies" for our babies and Bruno especially loved them!!!!!! He sat at the cookie jar and cried every day until they were gone. Well, everything needs competetion right? What do you guys think if we opened a bakery for dogs and sold other items for them as well. Kinda like a Starbucks for dogs?? The only problem about the one we went to was that it was in the mall. No dog is gonna be able to go in there. So we want to open a bakery somewhere like on Santa Monica Blvd. where there is alot of dog traffic. Easy access right?? Let me know what you guys think?

What Cindy said. I agree that it should be a place that is 'dog friendly' and easily accessible. Good luck!

Just wanted to ad that we need more dog friendly places. Iam allowed to take lacie into my auto insurance office to pay the bill. So I never mail it in, instead I take lacie in to pay it with me.She just loves going in and acts sooooooooo very good.

Wow! A great idea
And I think you are right dogs should be allowed to the bakery; dogs are allowed to our local pet shop and Tina loves to go there because it smells so nice for her inside and there're lots of things to sniff on. Shop assistants say - it's a shop for dogs so they are always welcome as our clients :)

There's a place like that here in Kansas City. It's great. It's called Three Dog Bakery. I believe the original one is here in KC and I know for sure they have other locations. You might check their website out about a franchise. They work with charities and stuff, too, so they're not just in it for the almighty $$$$. Anytime I'm in there, there is at least one dog (that belong to the owners) in there, too. Everyone brings their dogs in with them! We go there for birthdays every year. They even have "Boxer Brownies"!! :D Here's the site http://www.threedog.com/

I think your idea sounds great! You go for it!!!

Dear Bxrlvr in KC -

My girls like the Boxer Brownies too. Lexus also loves the karob dipped roll overs. I went down to the Halloween parade at the Plaza (without my dogs, no costumes :( ) Were you there? There was a Boxer girl dressed as a cowboy, a boxer brother and sister dressed as Samuel L. Jackson and a cheerleader, and two boxers dressed up as what else, Boxers? I don't know if they won, but Samuel L. Jackson certainly looked good!

Hi, Ann!

No, we weren't at the Plaza parade, although we don't live far from there. We're in Brookside. Every time we drive through Prairie Village, I'm always telling my husband to "look for the Boxers from the board"!! :D He thinks I'm nuts! We should get our babies together some time, since we're so close! Let me know if you're interested!
