We took Cassie back to the vet for her check up on her susspected heart murmur and the vet said she could't hear anything it had gone. She said this sometimes happens with young puppies you think you can hear it and then it goes. I was so happy!!I could'nt bear anything to be wrong with her 'she is so lively. We also had her identi chipped and she let out such a howl when it was done I felt really bad about it but at least if she gets lost we should find her again.
:D

Anne, I am so glad to hear that Cassie's murmur (sp?) is gone!! Yippieeeeee! I agree that the chip is worth the howl but I am curious....our vet does it under anesthesia. Did your give her anything...a local maybe?

Thank goodness Cassie is ok. It's always a relief to get good news from the vet. Poor baby - she probably thought she was being stuck. She's just like a little skin kid when they get a shot!!!

Hi Chris, no she did't have a local or anything But we scots are a tough lot,I don't know of anyone who's dog has had a local for this but it would have been a good idea, it sound so painful. They say the chip is the size of a grain of rice ,imagine that going through your skin ugghh!!!

Anne, I am so pleased that Cassie seems O.K. now, it is a scary feeling when something happens to them isn't it? As you say you Scots are a tough lot, but fantastic friends when needed. We have some friends that originate from Kirkcaldy.
