Many of you saw my thread in the health section about my recent foster. Unfortunately she lost her fight. She was only 4 & ½ months old. I just can’t believe she is gone. She was a perfect, happy, playful puppy. She ran and played hard and had the biggest wiggle butt I have ever seen.

My whole family loved her. And the day I dropped her off at her forever home was so bitter sweet because I had become very attached to her. I can’t believe that “good bye” was the last time I’d ever see her.

At least I know she lived a good life during the short time she was here. She loved to play with her foster sister and brother and her forever brother. And between my family and her forever family she was given more love than many dogs receive in an entire lifetime.

I had named her Whiskey but her family renamed her Maggie after the boxing movie “million dollar baby”. Who would have guessed that name would become so fitting in the end.

Here is a small tribute to our girl…
