Hi,

A while back I tried to rescue a beautiful brindle, but after several visits his agression didn't impove and nor did his compatability with other dogs so I had to give up on him and hope someone else would be able to help him instead.

I have just found out that he has been put to sleep as he attacked the vet and they had to sedate him to get him to stop...

Oh George...

I feel bad that I didn't keep trying, but I guess if I had it could of been me being attacked.

I hope he will be at peace now.

Don't feel bad, Sarah, you gave it your best shot with George. you couldn't have done any more. As you say, it could have been you, or Bailey who was attacked.

So sorry George, angelicon

Oh Sarah, you tried and made the best decision for your family. Just think of him now, at the bridge, I am sure there is no aggression up there and that his happy and able to be free and run and play. Perhaps you will even get to see him again one day, I am sure he will not forget that you tried.

you made the right choice some boxers are unadoptable and if there wasn't someone that can take them with experience then there probably wasn't any choice. I know of one that lived at a breeders in a cage for the rest of their lives but if the dog kept attacking then it probably would have been put to sleep anyway its a shame poor George turned out that way
