From Nutro to Innova

Hi everyone

I was feeding Snatch Nutro Lamb and Rice for 4 years.. until some research (and with a little more money on our bank accounts...) we decided to switch him (and the second puppy, Oxford) to Innova.. very gradually...

They were doing excellent on Nutro Lamb and rice.... but I wanted something better of course!

They both looove Innova, but i have to say, after a month: their poop is soft (like frozen yogurt..) and the gas is.. horrific!!! :eek:

I don't have much choices around me...
*Canidae
*Artemis
*California Natural
*Innova
*Innova Evo (but too much protein for Oxford - who is only 6 month old)
*Eagle Pack Holistic Select (ever heard about this one?)
*Solid Gold
*Nature’s Variety
*Instinct (too much protein too)

In the past 4 years, i tried a couple of food:
Nutro was perfect, but it is crap food, i know...
I tried Canidae -> Snatch hated it - kibbles too small?
I tried Blue buffalo fish -> loose stool + fish-smell gas :eek: LOL


I feel like he only does ok (no gas) on Lamb.. but those lamb formulas always look less protein % ..

any ideas?

me too

i had my guy on eagle pack for over a year he did wonderful I it. I wanted to try him on a grainless a started the instinct ever since then he has horrfic gas a soft stool after he is done this bag i think were going back to eagle pack

I went to the pet store supplies and got them Eagle Pack Holistic Lamb... hopefully they will be good on it

I would love to be able to change their protein source from bag to bag.. but i think chicken doesn't do good with Snatch (gas) and beef either (beef makes him chew his paws..)
