Tiggers Dad

Boxer Pal
Hello fellow Boxer Parents..... After a heafty Vet bill, and many worries Tigger was given a clean bill of health.... You see I arrived home from work a few weeks ago to find that my poor boy had filled his crate with the runs.... I took him out to the backyard and as he went again I noticed blood in his stool.... Called the vet, and to make this long story short, they didn't find anything wrong with him....??? Antibiotics later, he was soon back to his playful self.... the only possible way he fell ill could have been from something he ingested...Now I know this souds weird but I know that he hadn't been into anything. he hadn't had any of his treats leading up to the problem ( wellness well bites) and basically all he was eating was Canidae All Life Stages mixed with Solid Gold Barking At The Moon... I have since switchted him slowly to Go Natural grain free... Here is the problem now.... His stool is still loose! and on top of things his coat has dulled quite a bit and I noticed that his shedding has increased... Im thinking of putting him back onto the original two food types I had him on....any advice or similar situations?

any help on this will be greatly appreciated....Thank you...

Boxer Booster
Possibly too much protein? I believe the go Natural is quite high in protein. Cassius had some Orijen when he was younger and his stools were loose as well.

Completely Boxer Crazy
I had this experience. I used to feed my dog quite high quality food but the protein was obviously too high for him. I later found Timberwolf Black Forest and he did find with it. Later I started homecooking his meal and mixed with Timberwolf Lamb and Apple and he did fine. Unfortunately Timberwolf has recently changed their recipe (lower meat ingredients) and my dog did not like it. So now I am back to homecook mixed with Wellness Ko. He is doing fine. How old is your dog? Solid Gold Barking at the moon is one of the grainfree kibble and very high protein which is not suitable for puppy.
