First Airplane Trip....

We are heading home for Christmas tomorrow morning and we are taking our girls with us. (We didn't want to board them for 17 days.) We have everything in order and they are pretty laid back dogs, but I am nervous. So, I'm writing this to relieve some stress and hope that the people on here will pray for us or be thinking about us tomorrow. We have a direct flight, so everything should be just fine. I just don't want to be nervous tomorrow because that will make the girls nervous. Anyway, I'll let you guys know how it goes. Thank you!

Good Luck tomorrow! Where are you heading and what airline are you flying. Some airlines are really good about traveling animals. I am sure everything will be fine. You may want to take precautions about feeding and such before you travel. I am sure someone else can be more specific. I bet everything will go really well and you will have a great vacation. Try not to be too nervous.

Everything is perfect!!!

Our first plane trip was a success!! We flew Northwest, who has the Priority Pet Program, we had a direct flight to Minneapolis. (They're first time in the snow.) The employees were very knowledgable and helpful. We were able to see them loaded on the plane from our seats and they were very gentle with them. We could see Mia arranging her bed on the way up the conveyor belt. Then they notified us that they were on board. We were able to see them come off the plane as well, they were so gentle with the crates. It was a wonderful experience. They were only shivering from cold and excitement of seeing us when they brought them to us. While I'm not a Northwest fan for myself, I wouldn't hesitate taking them on a NWA flight again, they were great.
