my too boys seem to play fight at times, thye show teeth, growl etc. and the little one is actually more agressive/instigator, but they never do any harm to each other. more often then not they will lay together and bask in the sun, etc. what is going on here.

Crazy, loud boxer play I would not worry about it... Boxers are so rough when they play!

I have a 10 month old boxer named Rocky. my neighbor has a 1 1/2 yr old boxer named Nike. I got rocky when he was 10 weeks old and he was very tiny. Nike would come over and rocky would go straight at him with no fear being only half nikes size. theyve been playing together several times a week since. most of their time together they are wrestling around. when rocky was much smaller i would notice that he would get a little mad and start showing his teeth and growling since he would get roughed up a bit. he would never stay mad tho because a few minutes later i would see the two of them getting a drink together or just relaxing in the shade. now rocky is bigger than nike and still growing and i would say he gets the best of nike these days. both rocky and nike have grown so close together over the past 8 months they are just like brothers. when either gets out of the yard or house they go straight to the others house to play. rocky is my first dog but from seeing him play and wrestle around with nike i dont see any harm in letting them tire eachother out for a few hours. good luck

I figured that was the case, my little one went right after the bog one when I brought him hom about a 30lb difference at the time! I was ust checking to make sure this behavior is normal!

I think my two are happiest when wrestling. Zoe will be the instigator and Melvin will join in once he has been harassed enough. She keeps pinching his legs to get him going. Its a riot to watch because she is the smaller of the two but she just loves to wrestle. Melvin is a big teddy bear but finally is provoked into it.
