I picked up a fawn female from the local shelter. I couldn't let her perish with the substandard healthcare/nutrition they were providing. She was admitted 3/21/01 and looked great upon entering the shelter. I picked her up on 3/27/01 and she was skin and bones. I already have a boxer and I work fulltime, go to school at nights, and I am in the process of getting married/moving. I am trying to provide as much TLC as I can handle, but she needs a better home and I realize this. Please help her. You can see a picture of her at http://www.alexarocha.com. Just scroll down the main page and she's there. I already submitted my request to the local boxer rescue, but I feel she would appreciate any home that could provide for her.

Contact your local boxer rescue back in Florida and ask them to send you an Owner Surrendar form. (I'm sure they use them). Be sure to attach copies of her records for shots, spaying, heartworm testing, etc. Is it possible for you to keep her and they can do referrals directly to you? We prefer to do referrals on the Owner Surrendars when we are contacted by the families. And most of the time, we are full and have no immediate openings. See if the Florida Boxer Rescue will work with you.

Good luck

I have already contacted the local rescue. They are coming to take pictures of her. The problem is that MY nerves are shot! I never thought working full-time, going to school at nights, getting married/moving, trying to raise my 4 month old Boxer Titan, and trying to teach and care for this new addition can be so overwhelming. My nerves are SHOT! I really want the best for her, but it's very hard to hack it. I need someone to provide a good home for her quick. Sorry, I'm venting! :)
