Fatty Neck?

Kinda wierd but i was wondering about the fatty tissue under my 3 yr olds neck. She has bad allergies and i think that has to do with it, inflamation, but i wanted to get your input. She's gained a couple pounds over the past few months so that may have to do with it also. Any info would be great, i just dont want it to be something bad and me have overlooked it.

I completely freaked out one time when I noticed fatty tissue below my boys neck and swore it was his lymph nodes. It wasn't. However, it might not hurt to get it looked at if you feel swollen glands in the extra skin below the neck.

I think when in doubt, let the vet take a look. Better to be safe than sorry

The swelling seems to have gone down a little. I think it is an allergy flare up because she has scabbing from scratching it so much. She gets Benadryl 2x a day and its still not helping. I think a vet visit is due.
