Yes, I have just been watching it from the back garden, we have a lovely clear night for a change, usually when there is an eclipse it is cloudy.
It helps being in the countryside where there are no lights shining.
We lucked out here in Southeastern Washington. It was supposed to be cloudy. :( BUT, it cleared and was just beautiful. The eclipse is just ending now. It was so great. I throughly enjoyed it.
We saw it here too in Western WA. We were fortunate to have a rare, clear October night, so we actually had a clear view We also live in the boonies - so no city lights to compete with either. The moon turned a kind of yellow/red for us. It was fun to watch!
We watched it, too! It kept going in and out of clouds but it was really pretty; for an apartment complex surrounded by trees, there sure were a lot of people in the parking lot looking up at the moon. My little cousin was with us and the first time clouds passed by he asked us why the moon dissappeared and if it was supposed to do that - it was really cute
I watched it too, in Chicago. I could see it from my hotel room, so I was spared having to go outside. I know my brother watched it in MI and took some pics of it.
