durable hardwood floor?

Within the next few mths my hubby and I will be installing hardwood floors throughout house. Just wondering if anyone could suggest a durable hardwood floor (Especially with the dog!).

Are you looking into real wood floors or laminate flooring? I would have gotten real wood floors in a heartbeat, but not with two grown dogs to scratch them up. We got the more expensive laminate flooring that cost just as much as the real stuff cost, but it was real pretty!!

We have the less expensive flooring in our bedrooms and they both hold up just fine. Going on two years and not a scratch on em'

It's fun to watch the dogs try and get a head start run....they just run in place for s few seconds. Your going to love the easy clean-upp too

We also got to bring some sample planks home to see what they looked like in our lighting and furniture.

I was kind of thinking of looking into laminate too. Have hardwood and its taking a real beating.

when we decided to get Lana we replaced all the carpet with laminate as well. We've had it since 3 years through out the house and it still looks great. No scratches and so easy to keep clean.
