Some may remember reading about Duncan the boxer puppy whose back legs were deformed at birth. He learned to not only walk on his two front leg, but run like the wind. His family was in a terrible car accident last night and he is still missing. Please keep him in your prayers or send out positive vibes or whatever you believe that this boy is found soon. He is alone in the wilderness near Yellowstone. Here is a link to story.

What a sad story! I sure hope that they find him. Duncan is an amazing boxer!

UPDATE:
Two-legged boxer Duncan Lou Who was found Saturday afternoon in a rock quarry in Fremont County.

Gary Walters and Amanda Giese said a passerby noticed the dog running around in a rural area near a quarry. He didn’t think anything of it until he heard about the missing dog. He immediately called Giese and about 30 volunteer and professional searchers descended on the area that was 3 miles from the crash site.

“After about two hours (someone) noticed Duncan, and (Giese’s daughter) Jay called out to him and he came over,” Walters said.

Duncan had a few scrapes and cuts and he was dehydrated. He was also limping from an injury, but otherwise the couple said he was going to be just fine.

The family wishes to thank everyone who helped in the search in person and on social media.

“This was one of the most amazing acts of humanity I’ve seen,” Walters said. “The outpouring of support was amazing!”

I was following the saga on Facebook yesterday , thank God for the happy ending !!! I was afraid he was injured in the crash and lying unconscious or worse unseen .

I teared up when I learned he was lost and when I learned he was found safe. I was so worried. If he injured one leg he could be easy prey for much of the wildlife out there. They were travelling with two other dogs, who were found right away with from what I have read had minimal injuries. They were all so fortunate in this crash. The only one seriously injured was the bison they hit. It had to be put down.

It is certainly a relief that none of them were seriously hurt! I hope that they will consider harnesses and seat belts for their dogs in the future.
