Does anyone's boxer ever howl?

I have an eight month old female boxer and she has always barked. Sometimes it's hard to get her to shut up. She does it for attention or when she is playing but a couple of months ago she started howling. Just like a coyote, she has that same stance where she raises her head towards the sky and lets out a long howl. It just makes my boyfriend and I melt when she does it. It is so cute! It happens mostly when she is playing with a toy and gets frustrated or looking for some attention and it is almost always accompanied by barking. Has anyone else experienced this?

YES YES !!! Lacie does this sometimes and its soooooooo funny. But she only does it on certain occasions. She will bark at the deer but hubby is sittting to close to me, then she "howls"

Samson only howls when something is too high pitched for his ears. Athena hates the alarm clock, if it goes off she will start howling, then jump up on the bed and paw at it, sometimes she gets lucky and hits the snooze button. Athena will also howl if you baby talk her. I just love it, my poor daughter just gets torn up when then howl, they seem so sad, she says.

Yes Buddy howls! He only does it when he is playing or if he is talking back to us. I can really get him going if I ask him is he is sad. This sends him into a very long series of howling. He looks so cute when he does this!

Zoey is a barker, but I have never heard her howl. Now my beagle on the other hand......LOL. Sounds soooo cute!!

Yes . . . Wagner howls and barks often. He seems to howl when he doesn't understand what's going on. Like the first time I took a shower with him in the bathroom he spent the whole time howling. Or when I started playing the violin, he would howl. It's sooo cute how their little lips just pucker together to let that howl out.

Draco howls when we try out different rings of the cell phone..especially if Fur Elise is playing, he howls like a jackal!!!

Lady used to howl, a very deep and low howl everytime she heard a siren. You could barely her her and she would stop as soon as the emergency vehicle passed.
