Just wondering, i know its not the perfered method, i don't i keep both of mine inside, but ive seen some nice set ups for some dogs outside also, just wondering about you guys.
Do any of you keep your dogs out side or in a dog house?

from what I understand boxers are extremely sensitive to hot and cold weather...they do not have thick fur,or natural insulation, as some dogs do,as protection from the cold,and yet dispite this, they have problems with summer weather,as they over heat easily,and can suffer heat strokes...

I know that, but ive heard of some people making big outdoor houses with insulation and AC and everything thats all, just wondering

I definitely recommend that you keep the dogs indoors. Boxers are particularly sensitive to cold(and heat). Scrappy plasters himself next to me at night if the temp in the house drops to 69 degrees!

It's not really their coat, it's their mushy face
. They are brachycephalic breed (flat faced). Their short nasal passages make it difficult to regulate their body temp in extreme heat or cold.

Ive had my dogs like 3 years now, they woudn't know what to do if they are outside more then 10 min, i wouldn't ever keep mine outside. I was just wondering about people that do.
