I did a search of the forum and didn't find the information I'm looking for. How common is diabetes in boxers? How young can symptoms occur? What are the most common symptoms?
Ok, now that the questions are out of the way, here's why I'm wondering. My baby is drinking A LOT of water and peeing all the time. Most days she drinks about a gallon of water, shes only 3 months old. When she has an accident on the kitchen floor (the only way I can judge the amount of pee that she pees at one time) it is a huge puddle and she is surrounded by it and I have to give her a bath (which she tries to drink dry). The frequency of her peeing is about every half hour. Could this be diabetes? Should I ask the vet to test her? Thanks in advance for the input.
