I know this a boxer forum but my son and daughter-in-law have to find an apartment because the house they are living in is being sold.the problem is they have a 3 yr. old rottweiller and they can't find an apartment that will allow dogs especially a rotty.She is the sweetest dog,and so gentle,they have a tottler and she is so gentle with her.her favorite thing to do is pick rocks out of the stream and bring them up on the lawn!Most of the people they know whom they would trust to take her already have dogs.It is breaking our hearts because right know there are 2 options. the local shelter or putting her to sleep.they live in n.y. we live in an apartment in texas and have our boxer with us.there is no way the owners will let us have another dog.Is there any one out there that knows a group, or web site that can help?

That is so sad they can not take their dog with them. I would look online to find a rescue group for Rotts and go from there. They might at least have an idea of what you can do.
