My husband's parents are taking their 11 year old Rottie today to send him home. My husband is just devestated. Rocky was a birthday present to him when he was a teenager and even though he couldn't take him when he moved out, he's always been his dog. He's had some serious health issues the last few months and today he finally reached the point where they know it's time to let him go. He's at his parents now saying goodbye. 11 years for a 100 pound dog is a good, long life, but it's just never long enough is it?
