Daisy has big bumps on her skin, what are they?

My girl, Peyton, has had hives a few times. She has pretty bad seasonal allergies and the hives have popped up after being outside around freshly cut grass. She also got them once after being stung by a bee. They were these really big bumps, the hair on them was raised, she just looked uncomfortable. With the bee sting, we had to take her to the vet for a steroid shot, which took care of it really fast. With the hives due to seasonal allergies, we gave her a double dose of Benadryl and when we woke up the next morning she was fine.
So nothing to worry about. The trick will be to find the source, sounds like either seasonal allergies or food allergies. Hopefully your vet will help you figure it out. Until then, you can always get helpful advice and words of encouragement here! Good luck!

Well we thought it may be pollen as she has been outside alot playing. Had her eating the Merrick after it rained and washed most of the pollen away. She did not have the hives so we thought it may have just been the pollen. We waited 4 days and then fed her Canidae yesterday. She did not have any hives so we were sure it was the pollen.
Then this morning she ate 2 cups of Canidae right away and the hives came back. She had not been outside playing, only to use the bathroom. Now we are back thinking it must be something in the Canidae which is a shame because this is the only food she seems to actually like. Her coat improved, eyes quit watering, and seemed to have more energy on the Canidae.
Now we are thinking we should try the Canidae Lamb and Rice formula, has anyone tried this? Thanks much!
