crate size for benched shows

Regrading benched shows, boxers are considered medium sized dogs and the crate specs are 34x23.

BUT
i am looking to get a crate and all i can find are

30x21 - seems too small
36x24 - this is a little bigger than what they specify in the brochure.

I am going to show my dog this weekend at the Philadelphia Dog Show and was wondering is the 36x24 crate would be okay? Does anyone have any experience at these kind of dog shows?

It's the width that would be the issue, because the extra length would just hang off the front of the bench. Generally speaking an extra inch wouldn't be a big deal - of course if everyone takes an extra inch that can add up, but chances are there'll be some people there with bitches who will have 21" crates. (You'd think the organizers would at least use standard crate measurements!)
