I heard that pig ears have some sort of bacteria, and aren't very good to feed your dog, but has anyone ever heard anything bad about cow hooves ? And does anyone else feed these to their dog ???

Pig's ears CAN contain bacteria thaat is harmful to people, that's why it's suggested to wash your hands after handling them. Cow hooves work well, but they can really stink LOL okay not like pig ears don't!!! *grin*

Do you have any horse farms in your area? When the blacksmith comes to trim the hooves there is the left over hoof, Dogs LOVE this!!! You can't let them eat too many they can get a tummy ach. The hooves are great because they are ALL natural, no bacteria, or other bad things. When they get to be about a day or 2 old they get curly. But are still Ok to eat.

Our two love the hooves! Our previous boy, Chester, loved the pigs ears. I tried them with Ttakas and Bronte when they were much younger and Bronte cried all night - probably with a tummy ache. I have also read that the ears can cause salmonella in both the dogs and humans and have stayed away from them since then. T&B always have a pair of hooves on the go - they play with them, tease each other with them, and chew on them occasionally too - they seem to last forever!
