Covering Their Toys

For quite some time now Mason has been using blankets, towels, clothing, or any other piece of fabric in his reach to cover his toys when he plays with them. I'm not sure why he does this, but he does it a LOT. Does anyone else's boxer do this? I'll try to get some video of it to show you, but he tends to get camera shy for some reason and will stop whatever he's doing. :rolleyes:

Harley likes to play with a toy for a while, then bury it in whatever he can find. Is this what you're talking about?

Gauge buries his toys too. Its like a game, he buries them under a blanket and then tries to find them. He will dig in his blanket like digging a hole and when he finds it he starts over.

Tag doesn't really bury her toys, but I have noticed that when she has her nylabone she likes to prop it on a stuffed toy to chew on it. Or when she is playing with her cuz ball she likes to have a stuffed toy in her mouth while batting the cuz around with her feet. Although if she is playing with a stuffed toy, that's all she needs. Silly girl :D

ABBY does the same exact thing. But, with her it's always the same toy.

Louie will usually gather two or three toys together and pile them up or (believe it or not) find a way to combine them into one (i.e. threading his rope toys through rubber rings, or jamming a ball into the opening of a tires toy!...once he has finished arranging them, he will drag his large body pillow out of his crate and cover the toys. he carefully tucks them under it so they are completely hidden. Once that is done, he walks away for about five seconds and will disappear behind the couch. from there he beins an aerial assault!
He will slowly stalk the pile and then jack hammer it! This goes on four a long time, and is great fun to watch!

That's too cute!
Mine have never burried thier toys, but when they get a good bone from the butcher they always burry it under the blanket.
Then they try and act like they can't find it....takes them forever to un-vail it from underneath the blanket.
