Could use some of those positive BW vibes for my daddy

I got news tuesday night that my dad was taken to the hospital. He went through some tests yesterday and they found that he has a leaky valve in his heart and an enlarged aorta. They did a catherization this morning and so far all i know is that he made it out of surgery. Still waiting on the results. It really sucks to be 1000 miles away from all this! (they live in AL and I am in NM) His Dr. put him on a strict diet since he is grossly overweight which is just making things worse. I could really use some BW vibes/prayers that he is better soon. The Dr's are worried about replacing the valve since they only last about 14-15 yrs and that would mean my dad would be in his early 70's when he would need a replacement. *sigh* So, our family could really use the vibes!

Update: Serious but not terminal

Well, got my update on my date. It appears the aorta is enlarged because of an anuerism in the heart wall. They also said that surgery now is inevitable. the surgeon is consulting with the GP about weather to do it now or have dad loose some more weight. They are concerned that he wont make it through the surgery if they do it now. They also said that he is a moderate to severe case right now and proceding with caution. I do have to thank the lord that the anuerism was not in his head. but although the outlook is not great it is also not terminal. Thanks everyone for the good vibes and please keep them coming.
