Cookie recipe

My good friend Georgiann's baby Nicholas is being Christianed on Sunday. She is having a party and I am taking cocktail meatballs and desserts. I thought I would make pumpkin bars, something else, and these cookies that use Stella D'oro cookies as the base. I lost the recipe and I have not been able to get in touch with the friend I got it from. The recipe uses the puffy orange flavored Stella D'oro cookies, you cut the top off and fill them with an fluffy lightly orange flavored filling. Not only do they look fantastic, they are very yummy too! Does anyone have this recipe? Thanks!

I have a lot of recipes, but that one doesn't ring a bell.
Have you tried some of the cooking and recipe websites? I think there's one called mymenus.com where you can search by ingredient.

I've got it! I was able to get the recipe from my friend, here it is if your interested:

1 Pkg. Stella D'Oro Angenetti Cookies
8 1/4 oz. can crushed pineapple, well drained
1 Cup Cool Whip whipped topping
3 oz. cream cheese

Using serrated knife, carefully slice off the top the the cookies. Saving the tops. Mix together the cream cheese and Cool Whip then fold in the pineapple. Lightly spoon into the cavities of the cookies and top with the the cookie lids on an angle, Done!
