Hi, I woke up this morning to find a red bump on Polo's lip. At first site, it looked to me like a cold sore! There was a clear (mix with a bit of blood) liquid coming out of it. Now is all flat and looks like a small wound. For the past few days Polo was having a runny stool because I am trying to get him used to the chicken. I should have done it gradually, but what is done is done. He is back on his regular food (horse meat) and is doing better. I'll add chicken gradually in a few days. I want to give him a break
However, I am puzzled by this thing on his lip…I've had a cold sore last week….can they catch this from us? I took a picture but have to figure out where to post it.
