How many of you, with the exception of the Brits on the Board, are familiar with a pantomime??? We're off to see 'Aladdin' this year at the Metro Theatre in Vancouver. I quote from their website ... "Many people confuse a 'Pantomime' with 'Mime' where there is no sound or speaking. A Pantomime is far from being silent! An English Pantomime has singing, dancing and jokes about current affairs thrown in when you least expect them. A delightful show for kids of all ages.... Boo the bad guy, cheer on the good guy and be prepared for lots of laughter.."
If you've never seen one, you don't know what you're missing - and, 'Laughter is the best medicine" in these troubled times.!!!

That is one thing I have always missed, we used to go to London every year at Christmas time to see the lights in Oxford St. & Regent St. then go to a 'panto' . The more the audience participate the better it is!
We are looking forward to it, thanks Gillian, will get in touch.
