Christmas decs already

Went past a house last night that had their Christmas decorations up already Can you believe it?

hmmm....in a way I can actually believe that!!!! it doesn't suprise me, what about Thanksgiivng decorations?? They just skipped right over it huh?

Thanksgiving is my ALL time favorite Holiday of the year, I absolutely love it. I can't wait!!! Already have my recipies ready to go on my counter.
Christmas has just changed for me, very stressful :(

Last week I saw people starting to decorate already. It's too early for me! I'll be sick of looking at it by Christmas!

LOL. Some people out in the country never take their lights down! They just don't turn them on. My neighbors put up their tree last night. They have two small children though, so they were probably under some pressure to get it done!

Christmas decorations are early this time of year, but... what I find most baffling is hearing CHRISTMAS SONGS... the first week of November! :eek: Don't get me wrong, I love holiday music, but during the holidays! I always end up with "Silent Night" or "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer" stuck in my head :rolleyes: I suppose they do that because hearing Christmas songs makes you think you should start shopping, as a Pavlovian response? :D Soon they'll start playing them in mid-July

One of our radio stations started playing Christmas music 24 hours a day beginning this past Sat (11/17)!! I love Christmas and I love decorating right AFTER Thanksgiving. What also is being ruined these days are the Christmas movies and shows. It used to be exciting, looking forward to some of them, but now with cable they play them steady from now until Christmas. They have lost their luster now.

Ugh, the grinches are already out, too. My car was broken into in the cargo area Saturday night. I guess my tinted windows made the culprits believe I might be hiding something. Little did they know that I am poor and they broke in while I was at my 2nd job I had cds, etc. in the car but they only broke into the back and there wasn't anything worth taking. Christmas decorations aren't the only things starting early this year!!! Next year Christmas decorations will be my cue to make sure I'm not leaving anything in my car. Isn't that sad???

Yeah, several of our neighbors have put theirs up already as well. Our HOA president has the most lights I have ever seen. I am sure his house can be seen from outer space. I don't do all the lights and stuff, a few decorations outside and several in the house, but there are a lot of people around here who go all out. They are having a contest this year in our neighborhood too...

Not only has my town decorated for Christmas this week, but the lights have been on ever since! I can look out and see quite a few decorated homes across the way. I have no intention of decorating until Thanksgiving is over.

I don't put up my tree untill December 1st but I am starting to get my decorations out since it takes so long for me to decorate
